Well Production Rerouting
This job allows you to define the conditions under which the production from a given group of wells will be given new destination facilities.
Use the list on the left to select which wells will have their production rerouted. Note that the list will only accept production wells.
The table on the left specifies the Rules, which consist of the new destination facility (Reroute to) for the fluids, and the conditions under which the rerouting will take place, always in the form "when such and such parameter of the selected wells (e.g., Water Cut) meets a given condition (e.g., is <= than 70,00%), reroute the production".
It is possible to define multiple rules for the same set of wells in a single job, providing either different conditions, or even different destinations depending on which rule applies. In that case, PetroVR will go through the list checking the status of each well, and will do the rerouting as soon as any of the conditions is met, disregarding the remaining rules for the rest of that step. Note also that wells are rerouted separately, as conditions are met for each individual well, so that it is possible that different wells are rerouted to different facilities.
Rerouting: Well Production vs. Facility Production
The two rerouting jobs offered by PetroVR share a common logic but have different goals: Well Production Rerouting concentrates on what happens to fluids coming from a group of wells, while Facility Production Rerouting heeds only what is going to a facility from another facility. In a Well Production Rerouting job, the production of a set of wells A is given a new destination facility C, no matter to which facility or facilities (B) it was going before:
In a Facility Production Rerouting job, instead, production going from any facility or facilities (A - it does not really matter which facilities are providing those fluids) to a given facility B will now be redirected to another facility C:
